Conference Rooms
These pics are of the conference rooms at work that I've been working on the past couple of months. Both of these rooms were badly neglected and needed the window sills replaced and 20 years worth of dents and scratches on the walls.
Walking sticks
I found some nice looking sticks to make a cane and a walking stick out of so I tried a little bit of carving on them. The walking stick has my version of a tree spirit (which everyone says looks evil lol) and the cane has a large mouth bass at the back of the handle and a ducks head on the front.
Checkering Tool
I had seen some checkering tools online and I want to start checkering gunstocks soon, but in the meatime I decided to make a tool myself to mess around with in the shop. I will probably only use this one on walking sticks because it's a little too large for gunstocks.
Land Clearing
I haven't posted anything in a while so I thought I would post some pics of some land that I'm clearing right now where I will be getting some lumber when I'm done.

Latest fnished cutting board
This is my latest finished cutting board, I have a few more that I'm working on now that aren't ready yet. This one has checkered maple, cherry, and walnut with a walnut frame and maple handles.
Power carved bowls
I started power carving a couple of months ago which allows me to make any size bowl without the limitations of my lathe. These are all rough bowls that I have to allow to dry properly before I cut them thinner and finish them. They are walnut, spalted elm, and oak burl.
A couple more knives
Here are a couple of knives that I made a month or so ago, the first one is a small skinner knife with maple and walnut handle. The second knife is a large spear point knife with a marble wood handle.

Purpleheart and Maple knife
This is a knife that I just finished last night. This is my own glue up, so it is a one of a kind knife.

USS California pens
These are very special pens that I made for my Dad and Brother for Christmas. The wood is from the deck of the USS California which was sunk in Pearl Harbor but then recommissioned.
